Green Monday Launches OmniSeafood Dishes and Discounts to Celebrate World Ocean Day

In support of World Ocean Day, Green Monday has partnered with restaurants and supermarkets in Hong Kong to offer OmniSeafood dishes and product discounts for a month. Green Common, the company’s online platform combining retail, distribution, and dining service with stores in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Singapore, will also provide retail deals and dinner options. Minor Figures Oat Milk Secures Investment from Danone VC Firm and Green Monday

UK oat milk brand Minor Figures has received investment from Danone Manifesto Ventures and David Yeung’s Green Monday Group. The investment amount was not disclosed. Clemence Delcourt, Danone Manifesto’s chief investment officer, has also joined Minor Figures’ board of directors.  The news comes as Minor Figures, a fast-growing alt-dairy brand, continues to expand its product portfolio and international retail growth. In March, the company predicted 100% YOY growth as it launched its oat milk into 700 Tesco stores across the UK. 400+ Companies Join Green Monday’s #WeCareWeDare Campaign for Earth Month

Hong Kong-based social venture Green Monday is celebrating its tenth anniversary and Earth Month with a new campaign called #WeCareWeDare. The campaign’s goal is to encourage everyone to adopt a plant-based or flexitarian diet, ultimately making net-zero carbon emissions a reality. Over 400 restaurants and retailers have joined #WeCareWeDare so far, offering new dishes and promotions during Earth Month. These include Ôdelice, Hemingway’s By The Ways, Lan-yang Taiwan, Hoi Hoi Pancake House, and Eat For Green. Green Monday to Raise $100 Million in Collaboration With Bank of America

Green Monday to raise $100 million in funding, believed to be working with Bank of America. As reported by Bloomberg, sources have indicated that plant-based platform Green Monday is seeking to raise a further $100 million in funding. The news comes after the Hong Kong-based company raised a record $70 million last year, led by leading global investment firm TPG and British conglomerate Swire. For the planned raise, Green Monday is reported to be working with Bank of America Corp, but details such as the size and timing of the raise have yet to be confirmed. Green Monday and Ernst & Young Sign MOU Asking Over 20,000 Employees to Go Vegan One Day a Week

On the first working day of the new year, the first big news from Green Monday came with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Green Monday and Ernst & Young yesterday, encouraging over 22,000 employees of Ernst & Young China to eat plant-based once a week to reduce carbon emissions. The MOU was signed yesterday at the “EY-Greenpeace MOU Signing Ceremony and EY China 2021 Carbon Neutral Campaign Launching Ceremony”. Both parties will work together to study and practice carbon neutrality and promote environmental protection based on the principles of “leveraging strengths, mutual promotion, long-term cooperation and mutual benefit”.
