Heinz UK Launches Plant-Based Creamy Tomato Soup and Beanz & Sausages

Heinz UK has launched vegan versions of two of its most popular canned products — Creamy Tomato Soup and Beanz & Sausages. The soup is made with fermented soy instead of the dairy used in the original variety, while the Beanz & Vegan Sausages contain meat-free sausages made from wheat protein. Both products provide one of the five recommended daily servings of fruit and vegetables. The new launches come in response to requests from consumers, who said they wanted to see more plant-based Heinz pantry staples. Heinz Launches Meatless Burgers & Mince “Powered by Beanz”

Heinz has entered the chilled meat alternatives category with two new products — Meatless Burgers and Meatless Mince, described as “powered by beanz”. The burgers and mince are said to be high in protein and low in saturated fat, with a juicy and meaty taste. They are also a good source of fibre and free of artificial ingredients. Initially, the products will only be available in the Netherlands, and Heinz has not yet indicated when they will roll out elsewhere. Heinz Invites Veg Burger Lovers to Challenge Beef in “Art of the Burger” Nationwide Competition

Global condiment brand Heinz announces the launch of “Art of the Burger” – a US competition to discover the ultimate burger creation. While open to both veg and non-veg submissions, Heinz encourages plant-based fans to challenge the status quo and use Heinz condiments to craft a restaurant-worthy burger masterpiece. Heinz Partners With UK Fried Chicken Chain Absurd Bird For Plant-Based Burger

Food giant Heinz has partnered with UK fried chicken chain Absurd Bird to unveil a limited-edition plant-based burger for Veganuary. The collaboration is the first of its kind between Heinz and Absurd Bird, with the vegan burger made with Heinz Beanz and Heinz Tomato Ketchup. Dubbed the DHOOM!
