Danish organic plant-based food producer Naturli’ announces it has won the Superior Taste Award for two of its milk-free butter products: Spreadable and Vegan Block. Made with rapeseed, coconut, shea nuts, and almonds, Naturli butter is a favourite alternative to dairy butters and spreads among both consumers and professional taste experts. Naturli’ Créme Fresh has been named Vegan Product of the Year by the Danish Vegan Association, after receiving more votes than any other product nominated. Made from rapeseed oil combined with seasonings such as onion and tarragon vinegar, the sour cream alternative is said to be ideal for adding the final touch to salads. Danish Government Launches “Plant Fund” to Invest $100M in Plant-Based Foods 

The Danish government will invest over $100 million into a new ‘Plantefonden’ – or Plant Fund – to promote climate-friendly plant-based foods. The Danish Plantbased Business Association has been named on the board of the Plant Fund, an initiative of the Danish Agency for Agriculture. A historic amount of DKK 675 million (100 million USD) has been set aside until 2030 for the Plant Fund, going exclusively to plant-based foods. The Plant Fund is a central initiative in the agricultural agreement in the Danish government, as it looks to embrace the climate benefits and increased food security of the plant-based economy.  All political parties but one in Denmark have got behind the landmark agreement. Naturli’ Foods Opens Plant-Based Site in Sydney as Australian Market Soars

Naturli’ Foods, the Danish plant-based leader, has opened an alt meat manufacturing facility in Sydney, Australia. The move comes as market research shows that Australia is currently the third-fastest growing vegan market worldwide. “We believe there will be future opportunities for innovation that will directly benefit shoppers Down Under” Based in North Rocks, Sydney, Naturli’ has now started producing vegan beef products at the dedicated and entirely vegan manufacturing plant. Do Not! Call Me M_lk is the Same as Cow’s Milk Claims Denmark’s Naturli’

Danish vegan heritage brand Naturli’ has released Do Not! Call Me M_lk, a new plant-based drink that claims to be a like-for-like alternative to cow’s milk. With a new blend of plant proteins, Do Not! Call Me M_lk boasts the same nutrient content as semi-skimmed milk with less than half the carbon footprint.  “It’s an important step in our food product transition” – Secretary General, The Vegetarian Society of Denmark. Developed and produced in Denmark, Do Not! Call Me M_lk has the same protein, calcium, B2, B12, and vitamin D as cow’s milk, with a percentage of fat that is slightly above semi-skimmed milk but with fewer carbohydrates. Naturli’ Partners With Scandanavia’s Biggest Poultry Producer For ‘Green Nuggets’ in Gas Stations

An unlikely partnership has formed in Denmark between popular plant-based producer Naturli‘ Foods and Scandi Standard, the Swedish owners of the Danpo group, Scandinavia’s biggest producer of poultry. Together they have produced “Green Nuggets” which are now available at 107 Q8 service stations across the country, while 57% of Danes report a desire to cut down on meat. “It is expected that the green nuggets and other plant-based products will amount to five per cent of Q8’s total food sales in 2024, and that figure will increase in the following years,” says Helle Skov director of Q8 service stations.
