PANGAIA Expands Activewear Range Made With Plant-Based Nylon & Spandex

Materials science company PANGAIA has expanded its popular Motion activewear range, adding a new capsule collection for men and more colors for women. The men’s collection includes a mesh t-shirt, zipped long-sleeved top, and tights, available in volcanic grey and black. For women, existing products — the sports bra, ribbed tank top, t-shirt, shorts, and leggings — are now available in taupe and cobalt blue, adding to the black, foliage green, and cerulean blue colors previously available. The Motion range was first launched last autumn, with the garments in the collection made from EVO nylon (99.9% plant-based) and Hyosung’s creora® spandex (30% plant-based). PANGAIA has announced a new partnership with fellow biomaterial leader Spiber Inc. PANGAIA Launches T-Shirts Made With 100% Post-Consumer Textile Waste

Material science company PANGAIA has unveiled the limited edition Infinite Tee, a t-shirt made with 100% post-consumer textile waste. Available only from the company’s website, the new shirts feature a graphic with the phrase “Infinite Tee” printed on both sides. The launch marks the first time a shirt made with Infinna™ fibres has been available to purchase. Infinna has the look and feel of cotton, but is made entirely from recycled textiles. Fabric made with Infinna can be recycled multiple times, helping to keep clothing out of landfill. The fibre is made by circular fashion and technology group Infinited Fiber Company, which has just formed a multi-year agreement with PANGAIA. PANGAIA, the materials science company known for its ultra-trendy line of sweatsuits and hoodies, announces the creation of a new lifestyle division, PANGAIA Health, that will sell functional foods powered by biotech. Its first product category, PANGAIA Superfoods, has launched the Super Super Bar – a plant-based, nutrient-dense bar that is high-fiber and gluten-free.
