Reebok & Milk Makeup Launch 100% Cruelty-Free Footwear Collection

In a rare collaboration between brands from different industries, athletic wear company Reebok and vegan cosmetics brand Milk Makeup have partnered to launch a new cruelty-free footwear collection made with 100% vegan materials and zero animal byproducts. The designs in the new collection, dubbed Equipment Essentials, feature deconstructed elements, geometric patterns, vibrant accents, and logos. They are inspired by the equipment room at Milk Studios (Milk Makeup’s New York-based parent company), where “functional workwear is a must”.  The collection includes revamped versions of five classic Reebok sneaker designs: The Classic Vegan; Club C 85 Vegan; Classic Make It Yours Vegan; Club C Geo Mid Vegan; and BB 4000 II Vegan. Reebok and National Geographic Launch Vegan Shoe Collection Inspired by Endangered Species

British athletic wear company Reebok and National Geographic have partnered to launch a new footwear collection inspired by the world’s endangered species, including the Nano X2 Grow and Club C 85 Vegan. Debuting Oct. 4th, the collection is also influenced by National Geographic’s award-winning visual storytelling and is made without any animal-based products. The collection features the following designs: Club C 85 Vegan – A version of the Club C shoe that honors sixteen endangered species with unique patterns dedicated to different animals, including the Galapagos Penguin, Black Rhino, Eastern Gorilla, Ring-tailed Lemur and Fiji Banded Iguana. Reebok and PETA have announced that Reebok’s ‘plant-based’ shoe, launched last year, is now 100% vegan. Reebok, a subsidiary company of sports giant Adidas was founded in the UK, where veganism has exploded. Millennials in the UK and beyond are driving the retail market with their searches for animal-free alternatives, and this includes sports shoes.
