California-based Ripple Foods has launched Ripple Shake Ups Protein Shakes, targeting the nutritional needs of tweens. These shakes, available in Chocolotta and Viva Vanilla flavors, offer 13 grams of plant-based pea protein and 3 grams of fiber per serving. The product aims to address what the company is calling “tweenage hanger,” a term describing irritability due to hunger in tweens. Ripple Foods notes that the shakes provide a convenient and nutritious option for busy mornings, between classes, and before or after school activities.
