The Vegan Kind Adds Luxury Chocolate Bars to Own-Brand Love Plants Range

UK’s Popular online vegan retailer The Vegan Kind has expanded its own-label Love Plants range with three new chocolate bars. The luxury bars aim to “make vegan chocolate more indulgent”, offering an alternative to dark chocolate. They are said to have a smooth, creamy texture and are garnished with crunchy toppings. The flavours are: Dark with Orange Cocoa Nibs and Cinder Toffee — Colombian dark chocolate with at least 60% cocoa solids, combined with orange oil, cacao nibs, and vegan honeycomb. UK online retailer The Vegan Kind has launched a new frozen section stocking the biggest names in plant-based food. Extending its offering to now include ice cream, frozen pizzas, meat alternatives, as well as frozen organic fruit and vegetables, the company looks to solidify its status as “the home of all things plant-based grocery”. With more and more plant-based producers looking to the frozen aisle for expansion, The Vegan Kind frozen launch now allows shipping of frozen products direct to customers. The Vegan Kind Appoints New Chairman Tony Buffin, Former CEO of Holland & Barrett

British online supermarket The Vegan Kind has hired a new chairman, Tony Buffin. According to the company, Buffin has a track record of growing and transforming businesses in multiple sectors. Previously, Buffin has been CEO of multinational health and wellness chain Holland & Barrett and CFO of Australia-based grocer The Coles Group, along with various other senior management roles. Additionally, he is the founder of Tecsa, a digital ecosystem and analytics software development business. The Vegan Kind says Buffin’s broad range of industry skills, especially in digital and data, finance, and transformation, will help to accelerate the scaling of the company. The Vegan Kind Rolls Out Big Plans for 2022

BrewDog and The Vegan Kind Collaborate to Launch Vegan Pale Ale

Online vegan supermarket and subscription box service The Vegan Kind has joined forces with Scottish brewer BrewDog to launch a vegan pale ale. The recipe combines sultana and Columbus hops with Vienna malts, for a 5.5% ale flavoured with citrus, pineapple, and pine. The beer comes in 330ml cans featuring The Vegan Kind’s logo alongside BrewDog’s regular branding.
