Met Gala 2024 Showcases Plant-Based Dishes Featuring Impossible Foods, Neat, and Stockeld Dreamery

The 2024 Met Gala, held on Monday in New York City at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, continued its tradition of blending high fashion with high cuisine under the theme “Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion.” This year, the event’s menu was designed by caterer Olivier Cheng, who aimed to create a selection of dishes that echoed the enchanting and romantic elements of a classic children’s storybook. While the gala’s dinner menu featured an omnivorous section of dishes, the spotlight on plant-based offerings shone brightest at the afterparty held at Casa Cipriani. Timo Recker Appointed CEO of TiNDLE Foods as Andre Menezes Steps Down From Role

TiNDLE Foods, formerly Next Gen Foods, this week announced that Andre Menezes has stepped down from the role and that he will be succeeded with immediate effect by Timo Recker, who is also Executive Chairman and co-founder of the food tech company and previously held the role from July 2020 to May 2021. Recker originates from a German family that operated the meat processing company Recker Convenience, known for the production of schnitzels. He and his family exited the meat industry and sold the business in 2021. TiNDLE Foods Arrives in US Retail with Plant-Based Chicken Products

Next Gen Foods Rebrands as TiNDLE Foods With Plans to Expand into Further Categories

Singapore’s Next Gen Foods announces its new identity as TiNDLE Foods as it expands into new categories with plans to launch further alternative meat and dairy products under the TiNDLE Foods umbrella.
