veg-net to Return for a Second Year With Expanded Networking Event

veg-net, a networking and growth event for the plant-based industry, is set to take place for the second time on June 4 2025 at Radisson Blu London Stansted Airport. The inaugural veg-net event, which took place earlier this year, successfully enabled plant-based brands to connect with buyers and industry experts. Next year’s event will be even bigger, with the aim of fostering more meaningful connections and opportunities in the plant-based industry. Attendees will benefit from ten 20-minute meetings with buyers from the retail and food service sectors, along with keynote speeches from industry leaders. Inaugural veg-net Event Unites Plant-Based Founders to Discuss Insights for Category Growth

veg-net, a one-day business meeting and networking event for the UK plant-based food sector, took place today at Radisson Blu Hotel London Stansted Airport, bringing together brands and buyers for focused one-to-one meetings as well as hosting clinics with industry experts on branding, finance, sales and marketing, and the sharing of brand new sector insight via panels. Veg-net and Vegan Business Tribe Launch Dragon’s Den-Style Battle of the Brands Competition

Veg-net, a new event connecting plant-based brands with buyers and industry experts, has partnered with business support community Vegan Business Tribe to launch a “Battle of the Brands” competition. The pitching contest is in the style of TV show Dragon’s Den, and is open to vegan-owned food brands that sell a product suitable for general retail. The winner will receive a free place at Veg-net, worth almost £2,500; this will grant them ten pre-arranged meetings to pitch their product to key retail buyers and industry experts. Brands can apply by registering on the Vegan Business Tribe website and submitting a one-minute video introducing their product.
