Austrian brand vegini is adding four new vegan products to its pea protein based portfolio of meat alternatives. After years of consistent growth for its meat substitutes, the brand has also developed a fish alternative called Crispy Torpedos, which it says is similar to original fish fingers, in terms of appearance, taste and structure.

After two years of development and hundreds of tests, the company says it has succeeded in developing a burger that is deceptively similar to a meat patty in terms of appearance, texture, and taste, and is intended to convince not just vegans and vegetarians but also real meat-lovers. Regardless of how it’s prepared, whether it’s on the grill or in a pan, the vegini burger is marketed be able to take on its animal-based counterpart. Vegini Launches Innovative Vegan Products in the To-Go Sector
The Austrian brand vegini is launching three new vegan snack products for the to-go segment in April, just in time for the beginning of spring. The products come as mini balls in three flavours in a practical cup, with paprika or BBQ dip sauce and a small fork in the lid.
