Pizza Hut Adds Permanent Beyond Meat Menu Options in Latin America and Singapore

Global restaurant chain Pizza Hut is introducing Beyond Meat plant proteins as permanent menu additions in several markets across Latin America and Asia.  Expanded options Starting September 1st, Pizza Hut restaurants throughout Guatemala and El Salvador are introducing a new Beyond Meat-dedicated menu, which features nine pizza, pasta and croissant dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All of the items contain non-vegan cheese and eggs. In Singapore, Pizza Hut is also launching the Cheesy 7 Beyond™ Supreme, which features Beyond’s Italian sausage crumble with non-vegan cheese, mushrooms, peppers and onions. KFC Rolls Out Beyond Meat Fried Chicken Across the US

KFC restaurants across the US will begin offering Beyond Meat fried chicken from January 10. The news comes on the heels of the announcement yesterday that KFC’s vegan chicken burger is to become a permanent menu item in the UK. KFC first tested the Beyond Meat fried chicken in Atlanta in 2019, where it sold out almost immediately. Since then, the plant-based chicken has been trialled in several areas, but this is the first time it has been sold nationwide — though initially, it will only be available for a limited time. Look Away Vegans! Pizza Hut and Beyond Meat Launch “Plant-Based” Pepperoni Across US

Following the two companies’ recent moves in the UK, Pizza Hut and Beyond Meat have announced a new collaboration, with the debut of the Beyond Pepperoni pizza. A first for both brands, the pizza will be available in nearly 70 locations across the US.  “We know there is strong consumer demand for pepperoni, and we’re thrilled to unveil a game-changing plant-based pepperoni topping” – Beyond Meat However, much like the recent UK launch, the pizza contains dairy cheese and as such is not suitable for vegan customers.
