NBA Icon Chris Paul Becomes Investor in “Global Impact Brand” Wicked Kitchen

Plant-based CPG brand Wicked Kitchen announces basketball superstar Chris Paul has joined the company as an investor. Paul joined the brand after originally investing in alt-seafood startup Current Foods, which Wicked Kitchen acquired in May.  A 10-time NBA All-Star, Paul transitioned to a plant-based diet in 2019 and credits the change with enhancing his on-court performance and improving his recovery time. NBA Star Chris Paul Launches Gopuff Good Eat’n Vegan Snacks, Invests in Umaro Bacon

Basketball superstar Chris Paul has partnered with grocery delivery platform Gopuff to introduce Good Eat’n – a new line of boldly flavored plant-based chips, popcorn, puffs and rinds. Paul has also invested in vegan bacon startup Umaro Foods for an undisclosed amount. Vegan Basketball Icon Chris Paul Invests in Koia Plant-Based Protein Shakes 

Following his recent investment in Misha’s Kind Foods, 11-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul has now invested in Koia, leaders in 100% plant-based nutrition shakes. The Phoenix Suns basketballer and Beyond Meat ambassador continues to grow his plant-based investment portfolio.  The investment also furthers Paul’s goal of improving access to healthy foods for disadvantaged communities as well as promoting the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. Californian plant-based alt dairy company Misha’s Kind Foods has closed a $3M seed round.
