Vegan Women Summit 2023 Returning to NYC with 100 Speakers, Brands and Mayor Eric Adams

The Vegan Women Summit (VWS) announces its return to New York City on May 18, 2023 for an all-new, 3 day experience. The annual summit, which is open to all genders, will feature its largest-yet gathering with over 100 speakers and brand activations from across the worlds of food, fashion and beauty, along with networking and professional development experiences. It’s Bloomberg-Gate With a Live Audience: ‘Fake Meat is Dead’ Journo to Join VWS Panel

On 19 January, Bloomberg contributor Deena Shanker penned the now infamous piece, “Fake Meat Was Supposed to Save the World. It Became Just Another Fad,” making vegan blood boil throughout the industry. “Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods wanted to upend the world’s $1 trillion meat industry. But plant-based meat is turning out to be a flop,” stated the piece, and controversy immediately ensued. The article based itself solely on Beyond and Impossible, and was not representative of the industry as a whole, argued many in the business. Vegan Women Summit Reveals First Winners of 2023 Speaker Competition

The Vegan Women Summit (VWS) announces the first set of women chosen by popular vote to speak at the 2023 Summit. “First of its Kind” European Vegan Summit to Take Place in September

The first European Vegan Summit (EVS) will take place this September, featuring activists, politicians, and influential figures from media, business, science, and NGOs. Coming together virtually, the EVS will revolve around activism, economy, politics, and science to connect the European vegan sphere.  The EVS will take place over 4 days online (15th-18th of September) and will feature 12 talks, 72 speakers, and 4 exhibitions. The Second Vegan Women Summit to Feature Industry Stars Like Beyond Meat, Miyoko’s, BIOMILQ, ProVeg

In February, Vegan Women Summit hosted its first ever VWS Connect event — an opportunity for jobseekers to network with mission-driven employers aiming to build a kinder and more sustainable world.
