Aloha, a company known in the USA for its plant-based protein products, is expanding its range with a new drink in three flavours. The new drink is made from pea and brown rice protein, contains 18 grams of protein, is sweetened with coconut blossom sugar, and gets its creaminess from the addition of coconut milk.

The new drink is available in Chocolate Sea Salt, Coconut, and Vanilla flavours. In contrast to conventional protein drinks, it contains a combination of electrolytes, which are responsible for regulating the water balance in the human body; prebiotics, which support digestive function; and MCT oil from coconuts, which is said to boost metabolism and provide energy. The drink is low in carbohydrates and therefore suitable for keto diets.

“Our mission and our only goal at Aloha is to create genuine plant-based foods that taste good and contain nutritious ingredients – you shouldn’t have to sacrifice taste and quality when it comes to the ingredients you put into your body. The addition of coconut milk to a long-life protein drink is a first in this category, providing a creamy, smooth texture and rounding off the taste. We are thrilled to share it with our customers,” said CEO Brad Charron.

Like the other products in the company’s range, which includes protein bars and powders, the drinks are certified organic to US standards, vegan, and free from genetically modified or other artificial ingredients. In addition, they do not contain gluten or soy. They are now available in Target stores and from the Aloha online shop, and will soon also be available on Amazon and from other supermarkets offering online shopping.
