Plant-based food brand Gardein has launched its own spicy vegan breakfast sausage patties, as the global demand for meat substitutes continues to rise. The Canadian company, who is committed to helping the world eat less meat, is the fastest growing brand in its category in Canada. It sells its products around the world through stores, restaurants and universities.
Gardein already offers its original breakfast sausages, as well as sliced Italian sausages and a range of other vegan meats, including Meatless Meatloaf, Mandarin Orange Chick’n and Fishless Fillets. Its most recent product launch included a Lambless Vindaloo and a Stea’k & Eggs Breakfast Bowl.
The news about the new breakfast item was announced from the Gardein Instagram account: “Amp up your Sunday morning brunch with our brand new Breakfast Saus’age! breakfast time just got even better.”
Gardein markets to everyone who wants to reduce their meat consumption, one campaign they are running is aimed at meat- eaters who do or want to, partake in Meatless Mondays.
