New Mushroom Meat Alternative From Pennsylvania

New, mushroom-based meat alternative Pulled Port has been introduced by To-Jo Mushrooms, a family owned mushroom farm operating in Pennsylvania since 1932.

The Pulled Port product line was launched at the PMA Fresh Summit in October and has already attracted strong interest.

To-Jo’s Pulled Port was created as a response to the increasing demand for vegetarian and vegan dining options both in the foodservice and retail sectors. The result of the innovative production process is a wholesome and flavourful pulled mushroom product that looks and cooks just like meat. Pulled Port is currently available in four varieties, including Original, BBQ, Carnitas and Philly.
