The American lifestyle retailer Urban Outfitters targets young adults with its range of products. The company is now following the lead of many other brands such as L’Oreal and The Body Shop by taking a step in the direction of veganism. It is launching a new beauty line, “Ohii”, which is affordable and offers customers cruelty-free, paraben-free and predominantly vegan products.
With the beauty line, Urban Outfitters is expanding its range to include products such as the Wake Up Pen and a deodorant stick that is charcoal-based and aluminium-free. The lifestyle retailer’s new items cost between $10 and $24, and are mostly vegan. Just a few of the products contain carmine, designed to enhance the wearer’s natural beauty. The company says, “Ohii fills the gaps in any beauty routine with thoughtful products designed to work well with others. Ohii is easily accessible to everyone, both in stores and online, and seeks to enhance, rather than hide, natural beauty.”
