The German beverage producer Valensina has recently launched its new strawberry and basil Limited Spring Edition, which combines the taste if Valensina with flavours of spring. The result is an innovative juice designed especially for younger customer segments with high purchasing power.
Fruit juice market research shows that households with higher incomes disproportionately buy chilled fruit juices. In addition, more than two thirds of all respondents show a preference for special winter and summer flavours. This particularly applies to young fruit juice purchasers between the ages of 18 and 39. With its limited editions, Valensina hopes to add key product attributes such as “freshness”, “taste” and “premium” to the desirable qualities of “specialities/limited editions”, positioning them as key purchasing criteria for fruit juices in the refrigerated section. With its strawberry and basil spring edition, Valensina will be a driving force in the refrigerated aisle from March to June 2019.
Like all Valensina’s freshly harvested juices, the spring edition is freshly pressed immediately after harvest and then cooled thoroughly. This ensures that the incomparably fresh taste of at least 1.6 kg of fruit, only available for a few weeks a year, is fully preserved. All Valensina’s chilled juices are vegan-certified and bear the ProVeg (formerly VEBU) V-label.
