allplants Partners With Chef Rachel Ama for New Limited Edition Dishes

British ready meal brand allplants has announced that it is collaborating with vegan celebrity chef Rachel Ama to offer a range of new limited-edition meals.

The premium, ready-to-heat dishes are said to be inspired by Ama’s heritage and travels. Four options are available — Chimichurri Portobello Mushroom Bowl, Smoked Aubergine and Walnut Ragu, Double Green Orecchiette, and West African Peanut Stew.

The partnership marks the beginning of a new Chef-in-Residence programme, where allplants will join forces with top-tier chefs to develop exclusive plant-based meals.

“I’m thrilled to be the first chef to team up with allplants in this way!” said Rachel Ama. “I’ve always wanted to find a way to share my recipes with my community through more than just my cookbooks, so being able to work with allplants on this collection has been a dream. We both want to prove that plant-led food is exciting in every way — it’s delicious, packed with flavour, and full of so much goodness!”

“Incredible new flavours”

Allplants has seen considerable success over the past year, launching into retail for the first time in November 2022 and rapidly becoming the second-best-selling frozen ready meal brand at online supermarket Ocado.

Over the past few months, allplants has campaigned for World Environment Day to focus on the impact of animal agriculture rather than plastic, along with using an AI-powered campaign to call out other convenience food brands for their use of processed ingredients.

“We’re so proud to be partnering with Rachel Ama to create these incredible dishes, and really push the boundaries of what you can achieve in a ready meal,” said allplants Founder Jonathan Petrides. “She’s inspired millions with her recipes, and from the first meeting we knew that Rachel and allplants would be the perfect fit, due to our shared passion for delicious food and celebrating the power of plants. We can’t wait to serve up all of the incredible new flavours Rachel is bringing to the allplants menu for our customers across the country.”

The new dishes are now available on the allplants website.
