Beyond Meat has announced an expansion of its Beyond Steak product line with two new pre-seasoned varieties: Beyond Steak Chimichurri and Beyond Steak Korean BBQ-Style. The new offerings are now available in the freezer aisle at Sprouts Farmers Market stores across the United States.

According to Beyond Meat, the expanded line aims to provide consumers with a convenient, plant-based alternative to traditional steak. The pre-seasoned steak tips are designed to replicate the texture and flavor of seared steak while meeting specific nutritional criteria.
Each serving contains 20 grams of plant-based protein, 1 gram of saturated fat, and no cholesterol. The products have received certifications from the American Heart Association’s Heart-Check program and the American Diabetes Association’s Better Choices for Life program.

For those who enjoy the meaty taste and texture of steak but wish to cut down on saturated fat and cholesterol in their diet, we are thrilled to introduce two new delicious, convenient, and heart-healthy varieties of Beyond Steak.” said Drew Lufkin, senior vice president of sales at Beyond Meat.
Product expansion strategy and international growth
The launch follows Beyond Meat’s broader efforts to update and expand its product lineup. Last year, the company introduced a reformulated version of its Beyond Burger, Beyond Beef, and Beyond Sausage, now made with avocado oil. These updated products have also been recognized by the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association for their nutritional profile.
Beyond Meat has been expanding its international footprint as well. The company recently introduced Beyond Steak to the French food service sector, launched its Smash Burger at Tesco in the UK, and debuted the Plant Burger at Wendy’s locations in Georgia.
The new Beyond Steak Chimichurri and Beyond Steak Korean BBQ-Style are now available at Sprouts Farmers Market stores, while the original Beyond Steak remains available at major retailers nationwide.
