Plant-based dairy pioneer Califia Farms announces the addition of Heavy Whip, a one-to-one swap for heavy whipping cream, to its plant-based lineup.

Ideal for whipping, baking and cooking, the Heavy Whip is a multipurpose ingredient that allows consumers to customize any recipe calling for traditional heavy cream – from soup and salad dressings to whipped toppings and desserts.
Available in 16.9 oz refrigerated cartons, the unflavored, unsweetened Heavy Whip is gluten-free and made from a coconut oil base. Each carton retails for a suggested $4.89, and as with all Califia products, the Whip is kosher and non-GMO.
New cookbook
To celebrate the launch and highlight the diversity of Califia’s entire product portfolio, the company partnered with celebrity chef Carla Hall to release a new digital cookbook: “Comfort Kitchen: A Dairy-Free & Plant-Based Recipe Collection.” The cookbook features 16 recipes reinventing classic comfort foods with Califia’s selection of plant milks, coffees and creamers.
