Califia Farms has expanded its product lineup with the introduction of Complete Kids, a plant-based milk designed specifically for children. This new product features a protein blend derived from peas, chickpeas, and fava beans.
“Complete Kids has everything your little one needs to thrive”
Complete Kids provides 8 grams of protein, 50 mg of DHA omega-3, 55 mg of choline, and prebiotics, among other nutrients. The main ingredients include water, pea protein, chickpea protein, fava bean protein, chicory root fiber, and DHA algal oil.
This launch follows Califia Farms’ recent release of nutritionally enhanced plant-based milk containing all nine essential amino acids. Additionally, the company introduced three new flavors of its popular plant-based creamers—Lavender, Brown Sugar, and Vanilla. Notably, the organic lavender almond creamer was recognized as the Best Dairy-Free Creamer by PEOPLE Magazine.
Market for kid-focused non-dairy
The market for kid-focused non-dairy products is growing, with other brands such as Oatly and Little Spoon offering overnight oat smoothies, Ripple Foods introducing its Ripple Kids line with pea protein, and Nude and Mãe Terra launching the Zooreta oat milk range.
Complete Kids milk is now available at Target for $5.99. It can also be purchased online through Amazon and Instacart.
