The American ice cream brand Arctic Zero has recently announced the launch of a new vegan product line. Known for its low calorie desserts, the company has now developed its own vegan ice cream flavours based on Fava bean protein. The ice cream line will initially be available at Publix supermarkets in Florida, but will later be available nationwide. Arctic Zero thus follows in the footsteps of other well-known ice cream brands such as Ben & Jerry’s, Häagen-Dazs and Cado.
In future, consumers will be able to look forward to nine different types of ice cream in the form of sundaes and bars. These include chocolate peanut butter, salted caramel, cookie shake, purely chocolate, cake batter, brownie blast, cookie dough chunk, hint of mint and cherry chocolate chunk. Arctic Zero CEO Amit Pandhi told Vegnews, “We are confident that our long-time fans will also love this change. The Arctic Zero dairy-free ice cream has a much stronger, richer taste that really excites, and a creamier texture than ever before.”
