Meatless Farm Launches Vegan Chipolatas and Chickenless Roast for Festive Season

As the festive season approaches, UK alt meat brand Meatless Farm announces the launch of new plant-based chipolatas and a chickenless roasting joint.

Combining pea protein with parsley and sage crumb, the Chickenless Roast serves four and is said to be ideal for a Sunday roast or Christmas dinner. The roast can be prepared in 35 minutes and is both soy-free and low in saturated fat.

The chipolatas will replace Meatless Farm’s existing sausages, targeting consumers who want to try something new. They are high in fibre, gluten-free, and made from pea protein.

Meatless Farm whole cuts

The new chicken-style roast is not the first plant-based whole cut to be offered by Meatless Farm. In May, the brand launched vegan steaks, and last year it introduced award-winning plant-based chicken breasts.

The new launches reflect Meatless Farm’s considerable success over the past year, including in food service — the company has announced partnerships with Mother Clucker, The Alchemist, and TGI Friday’s.

“With huge competition from new and challenger brands in the category, we wanted to relaunch our popular sausage pack to new and improved tasting chipolatas and create a versatile roast product that could feed the whole family. Both launches are quick to cook and a planet-friendly swap for the foods our nation knows and loves!” said Morten Toft Bech, founder of Meatless Farm.

The chipolatas are now available at hundreds of Sainsbury’s stores, and will launch at Ocado at the end of the month. The Chickenless Roast can be found at Tesco.
