Meatless Farm, the plant-based mince and burger producer, is launching a new collection of sausages. The British manufacturer aims to become an affordable household name and brand leader in plant-based proteins, and to improve people’s health through better eating, whilst supporting the environment and animals.
The new sausages are made with pea, soya and rice proteins to chicory root and caramelised carrot, are a high source of protein, good source of fibre, gluten free and vegan friendly.
The Meatless Farm also recently launched its Meatless Consumption Target in partnership with presenter and singer Frankie Bridge. The initiative offers families a simple and easy way to reduce their greenhouse emissions by 8.4%, they simply need to swap one meat dish each week to a plant based dish – resulting in the reduction of 16 million cars on the road.
The Meatless Farm Co’s sausages are available, alongside its fresh plant-based mince and burgers, in Sainsbury’s stores nationwide from mid-May, RRP £2.50.
