New Range of Seasonal Dairy-free Ice Creams Available at Whole Foods

Whole Foods Market has launched three new limited edition vegan ice-cream flavours for the festive season. Whole Foods is an American store which specialises in healthy and organic produce, is synonymous with healthy-eating in the US and also has seven locations in the London area.

Whole Foods announced the launch on their website this week, saying: “Adding fun flavours of spirits to ice cream was an idea that couldn’t be topped — until we made it non-dairy and gluten-free.”

Launched as part of the grocery chain’s 365 Everyday Value own label, the three new flavours are Salted Pecan Bourbon, Cherry Bourbon and Irish Whiskey Salted Caramel. All of the new flavours are dairy-free and none of them contain alcohol.

In response to the rapidly growing consumer demand for plant-based products, Whole Foods Market launched its almond milk ice cream line in March 2017 and it also offers dairy-free ice cream options from brands like So Delicious and Nada Moo.

In addition to the new plant-based ice cream line, Whole Foods Market has launched a whole vegan Thanksgiving menu, which features recipes developed by James Beard Award nominee Jeremy Fox. The menu offers a range of seasonal dishes, including starter, main course and dessert. Chef Fox’s vegan Thanksgiving recipes are featured at Whole Foods’ hot bars and the full meal can be ordered through the US website.
