NIÚKE Foods has announced the introduction of its latest offerings in the vegan food sector, launching a lineup of plant-based condiments and milk alternatives. The new range includes eight varieties of chickpea vegan mayonnaise and three types of plant milk, including peanut and quinoa milk.
“We’ve created these products for anyone looking to make more plant-forward decisions in their eating”
The Miami-based company has been teasing the products since last year and has now officially launched its VMAYO products. Starting May 1, 2024, NIÚKE Foods will begin retailing its plant milks.
The NIÚKE Quinoa Milk has been spotlighted in the launch as the first quinoa-based plant milk available in the US, according to the company. NIÚKE is also introducing two peanut-based milks, one plain and one combined with cacao, both utilizing selenium-rich peanuts sourced from Argentina. The Peanut Cacao milk is said to taste similar to Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
In addition to the plant milks, NIÚKE Foods has debuted a vegan condiment range named VMAYO. This line offers plant-based alternatives for mayonnaise, dips, or dressings and comes in eight distinct varieties. The flavors available are Basil, Beet, Carrot, Coleslaw, Garlic, Merquen, Original, and Sriracha, each made from a blend of sunflower oil, chickpeas, beans, and other ingredients and spices based on the variety. The condiments are also gluten-free, non-GMO, and Kosher-certified. The production of VMAYO takes place in Mendoza, Argentina, where it is crafted by an all-female team.
Inclusive choices
Horacio Arguello, CEO of NIÚKE Foods, expressed the company’s dedication to providing consumers with innovative and sustainable plant-based food options. “We’ve created these products for anyone looking to make more plant-forward decisions in their eating. With our debut of Quinoa Milk and a range of flavorful plant-based milks and condiments like VMAYO, we offer inclusive choices for vegans, vegetarians, and flexitarians alike,” he commented.
NIÚKE Foods has made its VMAYO products available for purchase on its website, with plans to launch the plant milk options in May 2024. The company is also reaching out to retailers, distributors, and food services, offering direct wholesale orders and sample requests through RangeMe, an online marketplace for product discovery and sourcing that connects retailers and suppliers.
“[We’re] excited to bring NIÚKE nationwide; our mission is to offer innovative, sustainable plant-based options that taste great and contribute to a healthier planet,” Arguello concludes.
