Trader Joe’s new vegan Mac and Cheese product is now available to some store managers in the US. According to vegnews.com, the source was unable to confirm if the plant-based option will be offered to all store managers nationwide.
If managers order the product for their stores, the 20-ounce, ready-to-eat plant-based meal, will be displayed in the refrigerated section.
This news follows last month’s launch of the supermarket’s Plant Based Protein Patties, set to compete with Beyond Meat’s Beyond Burger and Impossible Foods’ Impossible Burger.
As we reported earlier this month, Trader Joe’s continues to develop its vegan milk chocolate bar using its Almond Beverage brand as the base. We will notify on launch updates as they become available.
