Veganz Launches Shelf-Stable “Peas On Earth” Pea Protein Mince

Germany’s Veganz has announced the launch of its new Peas On Earth minced pea protein product, which has been available online since October 3 and will soon be available in REWE Group and GLOBUS stores. According to the company, the product offers an interesting alternative to conventional minced meat and meat substitutes by relying on the advantages of dry storage.

Peas On Earth’s pea mince is supplied in lightweight 100 gram packs that do not require refrigeration and therefore have a long shelf life. As soon as the product is mixed with water, at least three times the amount of minced meat-like mass is produced, which can be used as usual in various dishes.

As Jan Bredack, founder and CEO of Veganz Group AG, explains on LinkedIn, another advantage of the product is its nutritional composition: it contains 74 grams of pea protein, is low in carbohydrates, and is sugar-free. These factors make it a healthy and flexible option for consumers looking for alternative protein sources.

To mark the market launch, Peas On Earth is offering a 15 percent discount on all products in the online store when the code “PEASONEARTH15” is used. With a consumer-oriented pricing strategy, the aim is to make the product attractive to a broader consumer base and help Peas On Earth establish itself in the growing plant-based food market.

New innovative technology for Mililk® production

In collaboration with the Döhler Group, Veganz Group AG has developed an innovative technology for the more efficient and cost-effective production of its Mililk® 2d printed milk sheets, for which the company recently secured €10 million.

The new process, which further reduces production steps and energy requirements, means that the almond and oat-based organic milk alternatives can be produced more sustainably and at greater scale. Jan Bredack emphasized that the quality remains unchanged.

Veganz is also expanding the Mililk® range and is working on new products for the food service sector and Mililk® Drops, an alternative to coffee creamers. Mililk® products are available at dm, Rewe, and Amazon, among others. Thanks to optimized production capacities at the Ludwigsfelde site, the plant now achieves a daily output of 50,000 liters. Veganz focuses on sustainable organic ingredients and recently announced the availability of Mililk® Barista quality via the organic wholesaler Terra Naturkost.
