First Vegan Pizza School in the World Opens in Europe

Vegan Gastronomy Culinary Academy, the world’s leading vegan cooking academy, has recently opened the world’s first vegan pizza school in Europe. Besides its special focus on pizza, the academy also offers courses on traditional dishes, international cuisine, pastries, cheese and bakery products.

The Vegan Pizza School courses will be offered either in person at the Academy in Mallorca, Spain, or online via the Academy’s popular interactive system. “This is the next chapter of our growing success in making vegan food mainstream,” said Stephanie Prather, founder of the Vegan Gastronomy Culinary Academy. “We use our expertise in taste and texture and combine it with cost-effective, healthier approaches to make vegan pizza a delicious mainstream alternative in a changing food environment.”

The academy will train home chefs, budding pizza chefs and professional pizzaiolos who want to expand their repertoire, as well as cooking school teachers and professional hotel chefs. “Our ability to prepare vegan dishes as well as or better than traditional dishes was what prompted us to start our Vegan Pizza School,” said Jessica McKenzie, General Manager of Vegan Gastronomy.

Courses start in March 2019, and the Academy is now accepting applications.
