The Vegan Lodge: A Vegan and Sustainable Tourism Concept

The Vegan Lodge Olympos is a new tourist resort in Turkey specializing in vegan holidays. The resort, with its slogan “Holiday in a different way”, wants to take a pioneering role by implementing a holistic concept for sustainable tourism. The Vegan Lodge will open its doors on March 8th 2019.

With the rapid growth of vegan lifestyles worldwide, a number of new products and services tailored to this type of lifestyle are being introduced every day. The Vegan Lodge, which meets vegans’ holiday needs in line with its own philosophy of life, will offer its services in a complex of 30 plots consisting of 34 rooms, 2 swimming pools, yoga studios, a bar and a restaurant. The establishment aims to lead the way in implementing a holistic, sustainable understanding of tourism.

The materials used in the hotel, including all cosmetics, detergents and textile products, do not contain any animal products or ingredients. The vegetables, which are grown naturally, come from the hotel’s own vegetable garden. The introduction of renewable solar energy as a source of electricity and water is another way in which The Vegan Lodge is applying sustainable understanding.

Mr. Emre Dilek, one of the partners managing the hotel, is also vegan. He says, “We will fulfill our mission of developing diversity in our country’s tourism industry, which has a significant place on the world tourism map. We look forward to providing vegan guests from countries which have already shown great interest in Turkey with high-quality products and services.”
