Vegan dating app Veggly has compiled data that reveals that London is the world’s best city for vegan dating, with 11,609 users of the vegan app to date. Veggly now has over 152,000 users worldwide since its launch in 2018 and reports 6X growth since July 2019.
Lisbon in Portugal is number two on the list with 49 Veggly users for every 1 million people in the city. Very close behind is Amsterdam, in third place with 48 per million. Despite not having a city in the top three, the United States boasts the highest overall number of Veggly users in one country, with 32,376.
In December 2019, HappyCow, the world’s largest vegan and vegetarian restaurant guide and an authority on vegan-options in over 180 countries, informed us that London also ranked the highest for the second year running with its quantity of vegan restaurants, with 124 vegan restaurants in a five-mile radius within the city at that time.

Veggly is available globally and is set to continue its growth thanks to vegan volunteers around the world who have worked together to translate the app into Spanish, German, Portuguese, French, Italian, Danish and Polish, with more languages on the way.
