AI-Powered Hiring Service AltProtein.Jobs Now Available to Employers for Free

Tälist, the creator of AI-powered hiring platform AltProtein.Jobs, has announced that the service is now free to use for employers in the alternative protein industry thanks to support from mission-aligned donors.

With AltProtein.Jobs, Tälist aims to address challenges such as limited budgets, small founding teams, and competition for a small pool of highly skilled candidates. The hiring process on the platform is as follows:

  1. An employer posts an open role.
  2. Tälist’s AI scans over 5,000 pre-selected global candidate profiles.
  3. The company receives a ranked shortlist based on skills, values, and mission fit.
  4. The employer can view each candidate’s profile with one click, then contact the best ones to schedule interviews directly.

“Right now are not easy times for many businesses in the space – but some things should be easy,” said Pia Voltz, founder and CEO of Tälist. “Hiring the right people, especially in purpose-driven fields, shouldn’t be a burden. That’s why we’ve made it simpler, faster, and now also completely free.”

Mission-aligned tools

The platform is optimized for companies in the plant-based, cultivated, and fermentation sectors, and is said to be continuously improved using industry-specific hiring data. It allows businesses to reach global talent, save time, reduce costs, and find hires with the right skills and values.

AI tools are now used for a variety of applications in the alternative protein sector, including ingredient discovery, lowering costs, and matching buyers with suppliers.

“We’ve turned our AI-powered matchmaking service into a free resource for every team building a more ethical, sustainable food system,” said Voltz. “Great talent shouldn’t be behind a paywall, and mission-aligned teams deserve mission-aligned tools. We all win when good ideas scale faster.”
