Simple Feast founders Jakob Jønck (previously co-founder of Endomondo, acquired by MyFitnessPal) and Thomas Ambus run the subscription service which offers either vegetarian option Green Feast, or vegan option Vegan Feast. The company delivers par-cooked food for either 2-3 people or 4 – 5 people, with dishes which require 10 to 15 minutes preparation time, as opposed to either raw or cooked foods which are offered by most meal box competitors.

Jønck said: “The future of food does not just belong to plants, but will be both plant-based and unprocessed. This movement is pivotal to save not only our planet, but also human health. With this investment, we can continue our journey and bring our products to more people, in existing as well as new markets, while also strengthening our R&D efforts in new food innovation.”
