The New Food Conference, Europe’s first and largest conference on new-protein solutions and a platform for pioneering thinkers in the food sector, is calling for emerging entrepreneurs to present their ideas to key players in the food industry as part of the main programme.
The first edition of the NFC in 2019 was a huge success: leading entrepreneurs, scientists, and investors in the field of food innovation from over 30 countries gained insights into the latest developments on the market, while startups got to pitch their ideas to an audience of industry professionals. This year, the event will expand substantially, with more than 500 delegates from around the globe and from all areas of the food sector expected to attend.
Applications are now being accepted from startups working on plant, fungi, recombinant, and cultured alternatives to replace the use of animals in the food system. Successful applicants will get to pitch their ideas to an audience of food industry professionals, exhibit their products in the startup lounge, and will have the opportunity to tap into a highly interactive networking environment with experienced entrepreneurs.
Interested startup founders can apply for a slot in the pitch session by emailing [email protected]. The deadline for submissions is Friday, 14 February 2020.
