NotCo Introduces Shelf Stable NotMilk Barista with “Cold and Hot Foam Like No Udder” for US Foodservice

After one year of R&D, NotCo US has launched NotMilk Barista, a shelf-stable oat-based milk that masters foam in hot and cold beverages. Specially designed for the food service industry, the NPD was created with NotCo‘s patented AI technology and the input of professional baristas.  The company claims it provides comparable functionality to traditional dairy milk, creating “perfect” foam, even in high-acidity coffees and regardless of the steaming setting. According to NotCo, 60% of food service operators perceive plant-based as an enduring trend, and many restaurants will incorporate meatless and dairy-free alternatives to their menus.  “We took action and hired baristas to come to our labs to help with improvement and design phases. Aussie Plant-Based Brand MILKLAB Seeks Growth Opportunities in SEA Markets

MILKLAB, an Australian barista plant-based milk brand currently available in 19 countries across Asia, the Middle East, and South Africa, says it has further expansion plans in Southeast Asia (SEA). Last December, as part of its first regional marketing campaign in Southeast Asia, the global alternative milk brand kicked off a series of pop-ups in Singapore called MILKLAB Oat Float for consumers to taste coffee blended with its MILKLAB Oat Milk. Oatly Launches ‘Mini Barista’ Across UK

Alt dairy giant Oatly has added the Mini Barista to its plant-based milk range, a 500ml carton edition of its best-selling Barista product. The product is designed to help consumers make “baby steps” into plant-based, as the Swedish company continues to expand its oat-based dairy portfolio.  Oatly, the world’s largest oat drink company, will first launch the latest Mini Barista product in Tesco as of 20th June before being rolled out into Co-op and Ocado in September. Popular vegan creamer brand nutpods has just introduced a new line of zero sugar barista oat milks that are tailor-made for espresso drinks. The California-based brand, born from a Kickstarter campaign, was founded by Madeline Haydon in 2013 and has benefited from its ambassador and influencer marketing programs, as well as help from niche bloggers.
