Beyond Meat Expands Beyond Steak and Popcorn Chicken to Costco and Sam’s Club

Beyond Meat announces its popular Beyond Steak and Popcorn Chicken are expanding to wholesale retailers Costco and Sam’s Club.  As of January 4th, Beyond Steak can be found at over 50 Costco locations in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado and Southern California, while the Popcorn Chicken is now available at all US Sam’s Club stores. The launch means consumers can now purchase both products in bulk quantities, with Beyond Steak and Popcorn Chicken offered in 28 oz. and 30 oz. packages, respectively.  “Better-for-you” proteins Beyond Steak, which debuted in October, features chopped plant-based tips that caramelize and crisp when seared. TIME Magazine has named plant and fungi-based meat creations from Meati, Beyond Meat and MyForest Foods among its top 200 Inventions of 2022, which selects innovations changing how we live. Best-selling cutlets Made from 95% mycelium, or mushroom roots, Meati’s Crispy Cutlet and Classic Cutlet earned glowing praise for looking and tasting like actual chicken. Beyond Meat Launches “Revolutionary” Plant-Based Beyond Steak

Beyond Meat has announced the launch of its plant-based Beyond Steak, described as “revolutionary”, across the US. The bite-size meatless steak pieces will launch at Kroger and Walmart stores US-wide, along with other retailers including some Albertsons and Ahold locations. The product, which contains 21 grams of protein per serving, is sold frozen and can be prepared in just five minutes. Beyond Steak was initially trialled earlier this month at Jewel Osco stores in the Midwest, just weeks after the company announced a collaboration with Taco Bell to offer the Beyond Carne Asada Steak.
