NotCo Launches NotChicken Spicy Patties in US Whole Foods Markets

Food tech company NotCo has unveiled its newest plant-based offering in partnership with Austin-based hot sauce company, Yellowbird Sauce. The product, known as NotChicken Spicy Patties, is now available in select Whole Foods Market stores across the United States.  Combining the signature NotChicken Patties with Yellowbird’s Spicy Habanero flavor, these patties are designed to replicate the taste, aroma, and texture of chicken, with an additional spicy kick, thanks to Yellowbird’s Spicy Habanero flavor. Umiami’s Plant-Based Fillets to Arrive in Swiss Stores Through FFF Fresh & Frozen Food Partnership

Umiami, the French plant-based food tech brand, is set to grace the shelves of 165 Coop stores across Switzerland with its 100% vegan chicken fillet. This milestone comes as a result of a strategic partnership with FFF Fresh & Frozen Food, a Swiss distribution specialist.  Umiami’s journey began in 2020, founded by Tristan Maurel, Martin Habfast, and Clémence Pedraza. The company’s cutting-edge umisation technology led to the creation of plant-based chicken fillets, and it is currently developing new recipes, which it plans to launch in 2024. Beyond Meat Launches Plant-Based Chicken Made With Fava Beans in the UK

Beyond Meat is expanding its range in the UK with three new plant-based chicken products, following the success of the brand’s beef and pork alternatives. The new products are: Beyond Burger Chicken-Style — a twist on the classic Beyond Burger, containing 15 grams of protein per 100 grams. Beyond Fillet — a quick-to-prepare option, described as “crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside”. Beyond Nuggets — breaded plant-based chicken pieces, said to be “tasty, convenient, and easy to make”. Beyond’s existing range in the UK includes sausage, beef-style burgers, mince, and meatballs. Beyond Meat Launches Beyond Pepperoni and New Chicken Fillets Into US Food Service

Beyond Meat announces the launch of Beyond Pepperoni and all-new Beyond Chicken Fillets into North American food service, with the new products said to be indistinguishable in taste from animal-based meat.  According to Beyond, more people than ever are seeking plant-based pepperoni at their favorite restaurants, with 53% of polled consumers agreeing they would increase visits to a restaurant if plant-based pepperoni were available.
