CRAVE Launches Birthday Cake-Inspired Vegan Sandwich Cookies

UK-based free-from snack brand CRAVE has announced the launch of its new gluten-free and vegan sandwich cookies, Bisco’s. Inspired by birthday cake, each Bisco consists of two golden cookies with a filling of vanilla cream and sprinkles. The new product is CRAVE’s first cookie, and will launch at Sainsbury’s at the end of the month. It follows the supermarket chain’s recent announcement of a new trial where frozen, chilled, and ambient free-from products will be combined in one aisle. Bisco’s will launch at Sainsbury’s on December 31, as the first in a series of new product launches that CRAVE says it is planning for 2024. After 10 Years, Ben & Jerry’s ‘Most Requested’ Oatmeal Ice Cream Re-Launches with Partake Cookies

Ben & Jerry’s announces it is bringing back its long-sought-after ice cream flavor, Oatmeal Cookie Chunk, as an all-new non-dairy dessert: Oatmeal Dream Pie. Created in collaboration with Partake Foods, the new ice cream features Partake Gluten-Free Oatmeal Cookies and will soon appear in US stores as a full-time dairy-free addition.  Ben & Jerry’s discontinued the fan favorite Oatmeal Cookie Chunk in 2012; since then, the Vermont-based company has reported it as its most commonly-requested flavor by fans. JUST Egg and Cheryl’s Cookies announce they are partnering on a new selection of 100% plant-based cookies. Texan-Dutch Stroop Club Announces New Plant Based Direction

Stroop Club, a maker of traditional Dutch caramel waffle cookies, has relaunched its products as vegan and organic certified. Additionally, the company announced the launch of a pancake and waffle syrup line, also vegan and organic.  When Stroop Club was founded in 2015 by Chantal Piëtn and Tako Vermeulen, its mission was to bridge cultural barriers by selling traditional Dutch stroopwafel (caramel waffle cookies). Starbucks Canada Adds New Vegan Cookies and Bagels to its Range

The American restaurant chain Starbucks has recently introduced several new vegan menu options in Canada. These include plant-based cookies and bagels. This expands the chain’s vegan product range, which already includes alternatives such as avocado spread, vegan milk powder and a range of plant-based snacks and juices. As early as March, Starbucks announced that it would be responding to the increased demand for plant-based options. Vegan bagels and cookies have now been added to the coffeehouse chain’s range.
