Princess Cruises Rolls Out Vegan Menus to Cater to Plant-Based Passengers

In response to the growing demand for plant-based dining options, Princess Cruises is unveiling a range of vegan menus, enhancing the onboard dining experience for plant-based passengers across its fleet of 15 ships. The new vegan menus are now available in the main dining rooms, encompassing a diverse selection of starters, salads, soups, pastas, and main dishes, creatively crafted so that guests’ dietary preferences are not only met, but celebrated. Celebrity Cruises to Offer Seven-Course Plant-Based Menu Aboard New Ship

Premium cruise line Celebrity Cruises has announced that a seven-course plant-based tasting menu will be available on board its new ship, Celebrity Ascent. Served in the ship’s signature restaurant, the menu is said to give customers the opportunity to “experience global cuisine in its most pristine and untouched form”. The dishes will include minimally processed ingredients sourced from their original places of origin; example menu items are Golden Beet-Tomato Ceviche, Ajoblanco Panna Cotta, Roasted and Glazed Celeriac Steak, and Dry Rose Petals Masala Curry. AIDA Cruises Launches Plant-Forward Restaurant Aboard Three Ships

German cruise line AIDA Cruises has announced it will be opening an onboard restaurant serving dishes made with primarily plant-based ingredients. Called Soulkitchen, the restaurant will launch on three of the company’s vessels — AIDAnova, AIDAperla, and AIDAprima — on June 24. It comes in response to increasing demand for plant-based food from the cruise line’s customers. Soulkitchen will serve three-course meals every evening, with menus changing daily. Example dishes include coconut lemongrass soup, almond barley risotto with sautéed herb apples, and crème brûlée. Earlier in the day, guests will be able to choose from options such as overnight oats, fresh fruit and vegetables, and homemade spreads, along with plant-based cheeses and cold cuts.
