Australian Raw Chocolate Brand Loving Earth Raises $485K Via Equity Crowdfunding

Loving Earth, a plant-based raw chocolate producer from Melbourne, Australia, has raised $485,000 through an equity crowdfunding campaign conducted on Birchal. Over 300 investors participated in the campaign, and Loving Earth says it will use the funding to rebrand and launch new products. The company will also work to increase its global presence, recruit more team members, and expand via new distribution channels. Australia’s Flave Launches Crowdfunding Campaign to Fuel International Expansion

Flave, an Australian plant-based burger and healthy bowls restaurant in Sydney, has launched a crowdfunding campaign to support its goal of expanding across Australia and internationally.   Investors will receive equity ownership “in the hottest food movement going,” says Flave, adding that investments can range from $50 to over $100,000. Vegan Business Raises R$1.5M for Vegan Brazilian Companies in Just Three Months

Equity crowdfunding platform Vegan Business has helped three vegan Brazilian companies raise a combined R$1.5M in the space of three months. Over 2000 Brazilians have now signed up to the platform, which is the first of its kind exclusively for vegan businesses in Brazil. The amount of funding raised so far is impressive, given that Vegan Business only received authorization to operate from the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission late last year. The companies The first company to raise funding using Vegan Business was Chameleon Sun, a vegan sunscreen brand created by two former Nike executives.
