Biocyclic Vegan Agriculture Seminar to Explore Sustainable Farming Practices in Germany

Biocyclic Vegan International, in partnership with the German biocyclic vegan organization Förderkreis Biozyklisch-Veganer Anbau e. V., has announced a two-day seminar focusing on Biocyclic Vegan Agriculture and the process of Biocyclic Humus Soil generation. The event is scheduled for June 25-26, 2025, at the Permaculture Park at Lebensgarten Steyerberg (PaLS), Germany, a well-known hub for sustainable farming practices and permaculture education. The seminar will explore key aspects of plant-based, organic farming methods, with an emphasis on soil health and the role of Biocyclic Humus Soil in supporting climate-positive agricultural practices. Participants will gain insights into how these practices can contribute to the regeneration of the soil and increase biodiversity. Game-Changing or Problematic? Study Uncovers Wide Range of Opinions from UK Farmers on Cultivated Meat

The first phase of a project investigating the views of farmers in the UK on cultivated meat led by teams from the University of Lincoln and Royal Agricultural University (RAU) has revealed complex opinions on the topic. Encouragingly, the study concludes that many farmers see potential opportunities in cultivated meat as a “game-changing technology” that can create cheaper meat products for populations with limited access to protein and may benefit arable farming more than livestock farming. The project is part of a two-year study, Cultured Meat & Farmers, funded by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) in the Transforming Food Systems Programme and led by the Royal Agricultural University (RAU). Willicroft Sows First White Beans in Renegenerative Farming Project, Preparing For 2023 Upscale

Willicroft, the Netherlands brand which became the first plant-based cheese B Corp this March, reveals to vegconomist it has sown its first white beans — the staple ingredient in the brand’s cheese recipes — as it prepares to upscale in 2023. Two years ago, Willicroft became aware of the extremely high emissions of cashews — the previous main ingredient — through an initial lifecycle assessment. The team set about looking for alternative ingredients that could tackle a multitude of factors – lower emissions, similar nutritional profile, neutral colour and flavour to name a few.
