Vegan steaks by the Dutch manufacturer Vivera have been available in the British supermarket chain Tesco since the end of May. Since the steaks – available in over 400 Tesco stores – sold 40,000 units in the first week, Vivera has announced that it will continue to increase production in order to avoid empty shelves in the future.

Vivera Launches Vegan Steaks in the Netherlands and Belgium
The Dutch food manufacturer “Vivera” is unstoppable. In May, the company joined forces with Tesco to bring the world’s first vegan steaks to British supermarkets. In the first week alone, 400 Tesco stores sold 40,000 of the steaks. But the vegan manufacturer intends to continue their success, and will be bringing its steaks to Dutch and Belgian stores on June 11th.

The Dutch food company Vivera recently made its retail debut with the English retailer Tesco. Now the company has announced that 40,000 of its plant-based steak alternatives, available in over 400 Tesco stores, have been sold in the first week.
