Vera Oswald will join vegconomist as Head of Customer Relations from Jan 1st, with a focus on increasing the global awareness of vegconomist in the industry, trade, investors and organisations. In addition, she will continue to drive the company’s development. With Vera, vegconomist gains a proven expert in the new food business with more than eight years of experience in this young industry. Vera Oswald has been managing projects and communications in the vegan sector for years. As Head of Communication at VeggieWorld, she was responsible for press, media partnerships, supporting programme and marketing campaigns for VeggieWorld events in Germany and Europe. Before that, she managed projects at the nutrition organisation ProVeg in the areas of corporate outreach, climate protection and event cooperation.

Impossible Foods Hires Leslie Sims as Chief Marketing And Creative Officer

Impossible Foods announces that award-winning creative and marketing veteran Leslie Sims, formerly of Deloitte, will begin in the newly created role of Chief Marketing and Creative Officer on 1st Jan 2023. Sims has been hired by Impossible to “build out robust marketing and creative functions” as the company plans to “significantly increase consumer awareness and trial while pulling well ahead of other plant-based brands into a category of its own”, according to a press release.
