Cracker Barrel Debuts Impossible Sausage as First Plant-Based Meat Option

American restaurant chain Cracker Barrel is adding Impossible Sausage to its all-day breakfast menu, following a previous trial at 50 locations. Impossible Foods’ European Expansion Begins With Launch Into 300 UK Restaurants

Impossible Foods’ European expansion has begun with the launch of the brand’s “Chicken” Nuggets and Sausage Patties in the UK. The nuggets and patties will first launch at 300 restaurants and chicken shops, including chains such as Chicken Cottage, Halo Burger, and Patty&Bun. Later this year, they will roll out at supermarkets with the addition of more products. According to Impossible, the nuggets are preferred two-to-one by UK consumers when compared with conventional chicken nuggets. Impossible’s nuggets have only been available in the US since late 2021, and this will be the first time they have launched outside North America. Famed LA Coffee Shop Alfred Debuts Plant-Based Breakfast Sandwich with Impossible Sausage

Alfred, an Instagram-famous coffee shop chain, announces it is now introducing the “PBBS” – Plant-Based Breakfast Sandwich – to its menus. Featuring Impossible Sausage, the new breakfast item can be found at most of Alfred’s LA-based locations.  Described as a modern twist on traditional breakfast sandwiches, the PBBS is made with Impossible Sausage, Folded JUST Egg and Violife Cheddar on a vegan potato bun. Alt meat giant Impossible Foods today announces it is taking its new ground sausage product into retail via multiple outlets throughout the US, stating that 66% of consumers said Impossible Sausage tasted as good as or better than pork ground sausage. Impossible Breakfast Sausage to be Available in Over 20,000 Restaurants

Six months after the initial release of the Impossible Foods sausage patty, the California brand announces it will make the product available to all US restaurants through its distribution channels including Dot Foods, Sysco, and US Foods. This means that over 20,000 foodservice locations will have the option of serving the sausage.
