Vegan Pub The Queen Inn Launches Plant-Based Lamb in Collaboration With [MOCK]

The Queen Inn, a fully vegan pub in Cwmbran, Wales, has added plant-based lamb by [MOCK] to its summer menu. The pub is offering three dishes made with the lamb alternative: L*mb rogan josh with rice/chips Minted l*mb skewer salad bowls with potato salad, coleslaw, pickled red cabbage, and quinoa Minted l*mb skewers (available as a side/starter). [MOCK] first launched its plant-based lamb and chicken alternatives for food service earlier this year. Described as “chef-quality”, the range has been specially created for professional chefs and food service operators. A New Trend Emerging? The Barn Becomes Latest UK Pub to Trial 100% Vegan Menu

A UK pub near Rugby, Warwickshire, is set to become the latest to adopt a fully plant-based menu. The Barn will serve animal-free dishes throughout the month of February. The pub has already begun offering plant-based meals by default, with a surcharge of £2 to adapt a dish to a non-vegan diet. A vegan carvery is hosted every Sunday, with meat-based options available but prepared out of sight in the kitchen. Now, The Barn plans to drop meat altogether for a month after its plant-based options proved hugely popular with the vegan community. Traditional Pub Goes Fully Vegan After “Astonishing” Success of Veganuary Menu

South Wales pub goes fully vegan for good, offering plant-based carbonara, kievs, burgers, and more.  When The Queen Inn in Cwmbran, South Wales, decided to make its entire menu vegan for the month of January, the shift was intended to be temporary. But following an “astonishing response”, with the pub fully booked for the entire month, owners the Edwards family have decided to make the transition permanent.
