Rebl Eats and Mycorena Partner to Make Alt Meat More Accessible in Northern Europe

Rebl Eats of Finland and Mycorena of Sweden have entered into a new partnership to make meat substitutes more accessible throughout Northern Europe. As part of the new partnership, Rebl’s product developers and chefs have developed new additions to the ready meals category: fresh ready meals with Mycorena’s flagship product, a sustainable and natural mushroom-based ingredient called Promyc. The products launched by Rebl Eats are branded with Promyc and have already generated great demand after an exclusive launch in 15 selected shops in Helsinki, Finland, according to the company. The Ten Winners of the Carrefour Plant-Based Contest!

Carrefour announced the final of its Plant-Based Contest last night, deciding between the 15 finalists. The aim of this contest was to find the most successful plant-based innovations that the retail giant will then offer to its customers. More than 250 start-ups from all over the world took part, of which 15 were selected for the final and 10 winners were chosen by the jury. Carrefour CEO Alexandre Bompard was present at the results announcement ceremony to hand out the jury’s “Coup de Coeur” award to La Vie for its ham — a new product due to be launched in September. Finland’s REBL Eats Launches Six Ready-to-Eat Products, Expands Internationally

Finland’s REBL Eats has introduced six new plant-based breakfasts and sandwiches to complement its existing range of healthy ready meals. Having already launched several dinner options, REBL has next decided to focus on breakfast and lunch to “answer the food needs of consumers across the whole day”.
