UK Train Company LNER Launches Plant-Based Dining Options for Veganuary
Train company LNER — which operates in the east of England and Scotland — has announced a new onboard menu, complete with a range of plant-based options for Veganuary. The vegan dishes on offer include a Bang Bang salad bowl, falafel, a roasted pepper and houmous sandwich, sweet potato curry, flapjack, and a vegan sausage roll. Numerous sandwiches, snacks, and sweets are available on a complimentary basis for first-class passengers, while standard-class passengers can try a variety of dishes via the Let’s Eat at Your Seat service. First-class customers can also enjoy the Full Veggie LNER, a cooked breakfast featuring Meatless Farm sausages, wilted spinach, roasted tomato, hash browns, and baked beans.
