The Canadian brand Daiya has launched a new range of vegan to-go products to coincide with the start of the school year. New to the range are burritos, cheese sticks and dairy-free yoghurt alternatives for everyday school and work life. Daiya is known for its vegan cheeses. All its products are plant-based and free of gluten, soy and dairy. They are therefore allergy-friendly and healthy. The new vegan products, along with 20 other plant-based products, are available at stores such as Sprouts, health food shops and Lucky’s farmers’ markets throughout North America. Amsterdam: New Vegan To-Go Products at Supermarket Chain Albert Heijn
Over the next four weeks, the Dutch supermarket chain Albert Heijn will test a new shelf exclusively for vegan to-go products at its flagship Ahold Delhaize store on Gelderlandplein in Amsterdam. It will offer a wide range of plant-based products such as vegan wraps, soups, salads and other to-go items. The retailer hopes that the introduction of this vegan product counter will generate a lot of customer feedback. There are plans to introduce the concept in all stores if it is well-received by customers. Additionally, the aim is to simplify shopping in this area and increase the range of plant-based products available.
