Burger King UK Launches Dirty Vegan Nuggets for World Vegan Day

Burger King is marking World Vegan Day by launching a new plant-based option — Dirty Vegan Nuggets — in the UK. Made in collaboration with The Vegetarian Butcher, the soy-based nuggets are a limited-edition version of the popular vegan nuggets launched by the chain at the beginning of the year. They come topped with barbecue sauce and crispy onions. To buy the nuggets, customers will need a code that can only be found on the Burger King app. The menu item will be available both in-store and via click-and-collect from November 1-6. Dating App Grazer Relaunches as ‘Meatless Matchmaker’ for World Vegan Day

Grazer, a UK dating and friend-finding app dedicated solely to vegans and vegetarians, has relaunched for World Vegan Day. The app has also rebranded, describing itself as “the meatless matchmaker”. “You don’t have to cuddle a carnivore or put your ethics aside for a ride. Over 170 Irish Restaurants to Offer Plant-Based Options for World Vegan Day

Full Irish Vegan is a campaign group promoting World Vegan Day by asking restaurants, pubs, and cafes around Ireland to offer plant-based options. The group’s 2022 campaign launched two weeks ago, endorsed by Oscar winner and animal rights activist Joaquin Phoenix. Over 170 restaurants, cafes, pubs, and hotels have already signed up for the campaign and will offer vegan options — ranging from breakfast rolls to fine dining — during World Vegan Day and beyond.
